German 5 Mark Silver "Eagle" Two Tone Cut Out Coin Belt Buckle

The coin is a little smaller than a U.S. half dollar.

First, a small hole is drilled into the coin. Then, by hand, a very fine jeweler's saw blade is inserted through the hole and worked around the coin's design, cutting away the background, thus leaving the coin's figure floating inside its outer edge. The figure is then selectively layered, by hand, in brilliant gold and silver. Each work of art comes complete, in a belt buckle and nice box.

Note: This buckle is U.S. made and is 2-3/8Ó x 3-3/8Ó. It will fit all belts up to 1Ó The outer edge of each buckle is silver and the center is gold.
